Restore the Hypothesis “Ether” to Explain the Two Different Types of Dual Property of Wave and Particle from Different Resources

[Abstract] Both light and the particle possess the dual property of wave and particle ,and this article states the essential differences of the dual property of wave and particle betweet light and the particle of material .And , through the analysis and comparison to two facts ,the article separately explains the different origins of the dual property of wave and particle between light and the particle of material using the hypothesis “ether ”,and it strictly distinguishes the two different types of the dual property theoretically, by this way ,it is discovered that the intrinsic quality of light is wave and that of the particle of material is particle .

    I Distinguish the essential distinction of the wave－particle duality of light and particle
    Nowadays, physicists have already discovered that both light and particle possess the wave-particle duality ,but they didn’t recognize the essential distinction of the wave－particle duality of light and particle. It is clear that the essential differences of the dual property of wave and particle betweet light and the particle of material through analyzing and comparing the following two facts.

(I) The Nature of Light is Wave

    Such as the first figure ,when a light ray with velocity c sends into a type of medium whose refraction index is n(n＞1)from vacuum ,its velocity c slows down to velocityimmediately ; When light ray sends out from the medium, without any external force, its velocity from, increases to velocity c immediately, and its velocity resumes the original one.

    This shows that the nature of light is wave, and the character of particle is derivative

(II) The Nature of Material Particle is Particle

    Such as the second figure : when a neutron with velocity V1 sends into a type of medium from vacuum , its velocity V slows down from velocity V1 step by step ,supposing its velocity is V2 when the neutron sends out from the medium ;when the neutron sends out from the medium, without any external force ,its velocity still is V2 ,it can’t resume the original one .
This shows that the nature of material particle is particle, and the character of wave is derivative.

    There is comparison, there is distinction. It is clear that the essential differences of the dual property of wave and particle betweet light and the particle of material through analyzing and comparing the facts .We can not ignore it ,on the contrary ,we should think highly of it and research it attentively .

    II Explain the Different Origins of Wave-Particle Duality Using the Hypothesis “Ether”
    The hypothesis “Ether” is a type of elastic crystal material. The following words explain the different origins of wave –particle duality using the hypothesis “Ether”.

    (I) The Wave – Particle Duality of Light

    Such as the third figure, the light wave is the wave motion of “Ether”, so the character of wave motion is very clear.

    Why light possess the character of particle? Because ,it is photon that is the vibration “Ether” particle , so we can directly explain why light possess the duality of particle .The light frequency is more higher ,the vibration of the “Ether ”particle is more faster ,and the energy of photon is more greater ,this is completely fit for the conclusion

that the energy of photon and the frequency of photon are in the direct ratio.

(II) The Wave –Particle Duality of Material Particle

    It is material particle that is particle, so we need not explain its character of particle.

    Why the material particles possess the character of wave motion? Such as the fourth figure (a),when material particle move in “ether ”,it can give effect and collide each other ,and it can arouse “ether ”wave ;On the contrary ,the material particle is given effect by “ether ”.So it possess the character of wave motion . Such as the fourth figure(b),the material particle possess the character of wave motion in motion as a ship sail on sea ,it can arouse waves ;On the contrary ,the ship is given effect by the waves ,and the ship also possess the character of wave motion .So we can directly explain why the material particle possess wave motion .The velocity of material particle is more fast ,the frequency of material wave is more higher .Because the material particle collide with the “ether ”particle frequently .This is fit for the conclusion completely that the wavelength of material wave is out of proportion to the velocity of material particle .Of course ,the material wave is the electromagnetic wave .
If we deny the existence of “ether”, we can not distinguish and explain the essential distinction of the wave –particle duality of light and material particle .So we must resume the hypothesis “Ether”.

[A Brief Introduction of the Author] A male senior instructor, who was born in February 1963, has been studying the theory of relativity since 1980, and find out some problems of the experimental basis and mathematical logic of the theory of relativity. And about the research result , there are three thesis : The Formula is Untenable to Michelson’s Experiment ; Restore the Hypothesis “Ether” to Explain the Two Different Types of Dual Property of Wave and Particle from Different Resources ; Restore the Hypothesis “Ether” to Establish a Model of the Magnetic Field .
